Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.Meanwhile, in a large pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove from the pan and set aside.In the same pan, melt butter and add the sage leaves, cooking them until they become crispy and the butter has browned.Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.Drain the pasta, reserving some of the pasta water, and add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sage and garlic.Add grated Parmesan cheese and some reserved pasta water to create a sauce-like consistency. Stir well to combine.Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).Top with the cooked bacon and serve immediately.
