Boil a pot of salted water, and cook the pasta according to package instructions for al dente.Meanwhile, heat some olive oil in a skillet, and gently cook thinly sliced garlic.Add chopped bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy.Mince the sage leaves and add them to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.Drain the pasta and reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Add pasta to the skillet, stirring to combine.Add salt and pepper to taste, and gradually pour some reserved pasta water into the skillet to thicken the sauce.Top with grated parmesan cheese and stir well before serving.
