Baked Creamy Sushi Rolls
🍲 Ingredients Needed:
Sushi rice
Nori sheets
Imitation crab sticks
Cream cheese
Mayonnaise
Sriracha sauce
Green onions
Soy sauce (for serving)
Spicy mayo (for topping)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Fish roe (for garnish, optional)
👩🍳 Cooking Steps:
Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions and set aside to cool.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat and, with wet hands, press an even layer of sushi rice onto the nori, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.
Arrange imitation crab sticks and small dabs of cream cheese along the center of the rice.
Carefully roll the sushi using the bamboo mat, sealing the edges with a little water.
Repeat with the remaining nori, rice, crab, and cream cheese to make multiple rolls.
Place the rolls in a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce to taste, and spread it over the sushi rolls.
Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the rolls.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and slightly browned.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with spicy mayo. Garnish with sesame seeds and optional fish roe.
Serve warm with soy sauce on the side for dipping.
